BioMy life is mostly revolved around collage, art, coffee, concerts, music, playing the drums, friends, and writing etc....
I'm doing this whole journal thing because I love to writing and express my thoughts and question everything in life.
I'm difficult; I question life so much that I'm not satisfied with one answer. I'm also a perfectionist I like thing to be done the right way, if not I will keep on doing it until it gets done right! Your probably thinking how can an artist be such a perfectionist? Well the artist it self does not set rules for it self there for there creation could be done as they please.
HOW I FEEL ABOUT MY ART:
1. My process as an artist is to change the world by providing not only new perspective but something much more. Art to me is beyond visual treat, I am more intrested in the conceptual possibilities. As an astist I am very aware of my process. To me if you are an artist you know it in your soul, its somewhat of a calling that is only satisfied by creating and learning. You can't learn to be an artist, its just something you are.
2. Living life everyday is enough to open my eyes and see that it is my duty as an artist to stop the public from mindless routines and see the human condition.
3. -Being an artist is seeing the world with eyes that rakes the surface of what it is. -Being an artist is seeing with eyes that indulge the intellectual and the visual. -Art is a continual investigation.
4.I want to capture this moment and mute it into something, make it mine. I question sometimes is it enough to go through life allowing for the "money makng" convention to shape what I will do. How unfufilling! I have decided to make it my responsibility to change the world with my stubborn determination to make art, life and travel.
-I see my art work being questioned, possibly controverial. Far too oftern acceptance is taugh to be sucess, sucess to me is when you chanllenge the public to think, perphaps be un comfortable. It's a chance to shake up the familiar and suggest a new point of view. that's what art can be!
5. My favorite place to work is my room at home. georgraphy isn't really an influence on me. it's more in what I see day to day that influence my thoughts and creative process.
